The Marsa Scouts Group, part of the Scout Association of Malta, found its roots in 1929. The band is a very good complement to the core scouting activities of the Scout Group as it allows the members of the band to work in a team, to observe the band commitments, to develop one’s musical potential, to provide a productive hobby and to gain confidence. Uniform is a combination of the uniform of the Scout Association of Malta and the regimental highland dress. The tartan worn by the band is the Marsa Scout Group Tartan which was designed for the band based on the traditional colours of the group.
