Ursula Philippi
Ursula Philippi together with soprano Melinda Samson and the Cantante Domino ensemble

The Evangelic Church of Cisnădioara, situated in the heart of the village, hosts one of the oldest organs in Transylvania. The instrument belonged to an anonymous artisan from the beginning of the 18th century. Hermann Binder from Sibiu restored this small organ in the 1990’s. Soprano Melinda Samson together with the organist Ursula Philippi and an instrumental ensemble made up of members of the State Philharmonics of Sibiu propose a music concert with the music of Georg Friedrich Haendel for the 3rd of June. Three arias, among which, the famous “Let the Bright Seraphim”, alternate with two concerts for soloist organ and instrumental ensemble.
