Workshop on the Stanislavski System and the Method
The workshop will provide:
*A brief overview of the roots and development of the Stanislavski System, from ancient Greece to the creation of The Actors Studio.
*A detailed Script Analysis of scenes from classic and modern plays.
*Method-based Sensory Exercises.

Andreas Manolikakis is the Chairman of The Actors Studio Drama School MFA Program at Pace University in New York, where he teaches acting and directing. As a director and actor he has worked in the U.S. & Europe, including on Broadway, at the Actors Studio, and the National Theatre of East Paris. Also, he has taught workshops on acting, directing, and script analysis, and has given lectures on Stanislavski, Vakhtangov, and The Actors Studio. He holds a BA in Acting from the Greek Art Theatre Drama School, and an MA in Theater from the University of Paris VIII-Vincennes.
