Eimuntas Nekrošius was born in 1952. He graduated from the Lunacharski Institute of Theatre Art in Moscow (1978). From 1978 to 1979 he worked at the State Youth Theatre in Vilnius, from 1979 to 1980 - at Kaunas Drama Theatre. In 1980-1991, he was director and producer of State Youth Theatre of Vilnius. Since 1998 Nekrošius has been working as the artistic director of the theatre studio “Meno fortas”, that he founded. In November 2002, Eimuntas Nekrošius made his debut as opera producer with “Macbeth“ by Verdi at Teatro Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. Numerous productions he directed were given awards of various theatre festivals in Lithuania, the Baltic States and worldwide. They have successfully participated in many international theatre festivals, while Nekrošius is a winner of many state awards in the field of arts.
Roman Dolzhanskiy Theater critic, art director of the festival NET, deputy artistic director of the Theatre of Nations. He graduated GITIS theatrical faculty. He worked as an editor in the ‘Moscow Observer’ magazine. Since 1995 he has been working as a reporter and since 1998 he has been working in the ‘Kommersant’ as a theatre reviewer. He became the director of NET (New European Theatre) Festival in the same year as Marina Davidova. He was a chairman in the advisory council of the national theatre award ‘Golden Mask’ in 2003, 2004 and in 2008 years. He is working in Theatre of Nations since 2008. He is also a winner of ‘Seagull’ Award (2003) and A. Kugel Award (2004)
