Krzysztof Pleśniarowicz - teaches at the Faculty of Philology and the Faculty of Management and Social Communication at the University Jagiellone in Cracow. His main interests are the theory and history of theater and performing arts. Between 1994 - 2000 he was Director at Cricoteka – Center for the Documentation of the Arts of Tadeusz Kantor. He is curator of numerous exhibitions and publications devoted to the art of Tadeusz Kantor, Visiting Professor at Cleveland State University (1992) and University of Rochester (2000) and Fulbright Visiting Professor at New York University (1996-1997). He is author of the books: “Dilemma to a single output. Absurd in dramatic writing at the end of real socialism” (2000), “Kantor. Artist of the End of the Century” (1997), “Disillusionment Spaces. Models of Contemporary Theater Work” (1996), “Form Inhuman Theater” (1994), “The Dead Memory Machine. Tadeusz Kantor's Theatre of Death” (1994, 2000), “Tadeusz Kantor's Theatre of Death” (1994) and author of the anthologies of texts by Tadeusz Kantor published in Polish language (in 2005) and also in Romanian (2014).
