Adrian Păduraru

A versatile stage actor, he performs across a wide range of genres and styles, from classical drama to contemporary Romanian comedy, portraying characters ranging from Don Juan and Peer Gynt to present-day politicians and business leaders.

He is also the creator of original stage concepts, including poetry theatre productions and Declaration of Love, a concert-performance based on a poetic script.

Alongside his work in theatre, film, radio, television, print media, conferences, workshops, and educational programmes, one of his constant interests has been innovation in cultural entrepreneurship. After initiating and developing several independent projects, he currently serves as Director of the “Matei Vișniec” Municipal Theatre in Suceava, an institution he has been shaping as a platform for emerging artists and innovative projects.

He graduated from the National University of Theatre and Film (UNATC) in Bucharest and completed doctoral studies in the semiotics of theatrical language at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași.
