VOCAL DEVELOPMENT. A series of vocal exercises that result in a practical practice to improve vocal production: breath, vocal placement, range, resonance, agility, and colour.
OBJECTIVES: to identify proper alignment and release muscular tension. Increase capacity for breath control and connect breath to sound and volume. Increase resonance and range. Develop placement, tone, agility, and the ability to colour the voice for different styles of song.
 
SPEAK SHAKESPEARE. Participants will learn techniques to analyse and interpret Shakespearean text and explore techniques and methods for character development.
OBJECTIVES: To understand the structure of the text and map the emotional journey. To understand the use and meaning of punctuation. To utilize acting techniques to speak the text and create vibrant characters.
