"Tr-edition: Life Is But A Dream" blends traditional Korean mask dance, shamanic rituals, and symbolic figures such as lions and tigers with EDM soundscapes and physical drama. Set against the backdrop of the universal struggle of the "modern individual, overwhelmed by stress and the futility of an aimless achievement", the stage dissolves the boundaries between reality and dream. As the man puts on the mask offered by the black tiger, time distorts and space unravels—revealing a forest of illusion where dreams pulse with color and chaos. The boundary between reality and fantasy collapses, immersing the audience in a visceral journey through modern alienation, unspoken longing, and the strange liberation found in masks, rituals, and rhythm. The performance culminates in an interactive finale, where masks are handed to the audience and everyone joins the dance, blurring the boundary between performer and spectator.
