The Army Music of the Sibiu Garrison at the “Nicolae Bălcescu” Land Forces Academy is an instrumental woodwind band specialised in the execution of honours and military ceremonies, city related activities, performing shows and concerts, participating in different specific activities in the military bases of Sibiu Garrison and other garrisons in the country, contributing with specific means to the development and efficiency of the process of military training and education and it promotes the image of the military in society.

The Army Music of the Sibiu Garrison participated in numerous national and international festivals: Brăila (Romania), Aabernaa (Denmark), Ulm (Germany), Krakow (Poland), Mons (Belgium), Sibiu (Romania).
