The Military Band of the 4th Infantry Division “Gemina” was established on August 7, 1951, in the context of the reorganization of the 3rd Military Region, a structure that later evolved into the present-day 4th Infantry Division “Gemina”. This moment marks the creation of a representative ensemble, integrated into the military system and dedicated to supporting ceremonial functions and the institutional image of the army.

The band’s activity has steadily developed in line with the dynamics of the Romanian Army, shaping a coherent and adaptable artistic profile. Its presence is constant in military ceremonies, as well as in various concert settings, both nationally and internationally.

The repertoire reflects a broad interpretative vision, bringing together works from the wind band literature, Romanian and international compositions, folk arrangements, symphonic adaptations, and influences from modern music.
