The Digital Stage in April

The premiere of this month on the Digital Stage is „Two for the seesaw”, directed by Dan Glasu. It is an inciting love story between a man and a woman. Deeply touched by negative experiences with their former life partners, on their way to finding each other, the two finally manage to heal their wounds and to hope for sincere, true love. The international show is „Cion: Requiem of Ravel's Bolero” by Gregory Maqoma. In this dance production, Maqoma draws inspiration from the multifaceted character of Toloki, whom he embodies in a solo and is joined on stage by eight gifted dancers from the Vuyani stable.

The character is set against the dark cloud of his country of birth, South Africa, and uses this as a palette to confront the notion of fear: of existing, of religion, of the self. Subscribers will also be able to access the following shows: ''GULLIVER’S TRAVELS”, ''THE IRANIAN CONFERENCE”, ''WHAT THE DAY OWES THE NIGHT” AND ''PARTNERS IN CRIME”.
