In today's world, love finds its way across language and cultural barriers. Inspired by Shakespeare's classic play, this trilingual production reimagines the story of two lovers in Verona in a modern, poetic and symbolism-filled context.
Rómeó and Juliet don't speak the same language, but find in love a deeper form of communication. As their love blossoms in silence and gestures, the two discover that, paradoxically, it is easier to understand each other than to come to their own mothers' reasoning. What brings them closer together becomes the chasm that distances them from their family.
A meditation on universal love, on the inability to communicate beyond egos and conventions.
