A poetic tapestry where mythology and history, memories and dreams intertwine, Heiner Müller—renowned for his collaborations with illustrious artists like Brecht and Robert Wilson—has inspired creative minds across various disciplines. He is celebrated as one of the leading figures of postmodern avant-garde theater both in Germany and around the world. His 1982 play, “Medea-Material”, is being staged in Turkish for the first time through a collaboration between the Ankara and Istanbul State Theatres.
