Dance – Europe’s Living Heritage in Motion

The temporary exhibition Dance – Europe’s Living Heritage in Motion is organised by the ASTRA Museum from Sibiu within the Dance as Intangible Cultural Heritage: New Models of facilitating participatory dance events (Dance as ICH) project, co-financed by the European Union within the Creative Europe Program.

This exhibition explores the different manifestations of dance in the European cultural context from the perspective of collaboration with dance heritage communities researched by specialists from the countries partnering in this project: Norway, Romania, Hungary, Greece, and Slovenia. You can meet these communities through films, panels and events of practice. The movies produced by the partner countries illustrate the different dance communities and offer a perspective on the richness of European dance.
