“When the Sun Poures Embers Over the World” is an original theatrical exploration that extracts relationships between characters from William Shakespeare's famous plays and reorganizes them in the form of a collage of eight mini-plays. The center of gravity of the show is the omnipresent Choir which materializes the forces in conflict and translates the energies, emotions and intentions of the characters through songs, stage movement and choral speech. The music, sung entirely live, proves how songs from diverse cultures have the ability to convey to the viewer the full emotional charge of the extreme confrontations in Shakespeare's plays.
A dynamic and hypnotic journey through the Shakespearean universe and its emblematic characters.
