Rajiv Joseph's “The North Pool”, directed by Alexandru Mâzgăreanu, brings together Șerban Pavlu and Vlad Lință in a contemporary story about morality, power and forgiveness, which captures the essence of high school life and brings to light the problems of adaptation specific to adolescence and beyond. The text talks about political correctness, generation gap and guilt. The play tackles themes of race, religion and wealth, woven into an unpredictable fabric. In this psychological drama the characters engage in a tense game of cat and mouse.
"A disturbing show about the role of school, about what the relationship between students and teachers means today." (Maria-Gabriela Constantin)
