Tickets for 130 indoor performances to be attended by live audiences, as well as 79 representations to be streamed online in the framework of the 28th edition of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival (FITS), are now available. The President of FITS, Constantin Chiriac, extends an invitation to theatre fans around the world to enjoy the generous offer of this year’s edition, whether in-presence or online performances, with all the online shows translated in English and Romanian.

We’ll have over 600 performances; the biggest edition so far. Online, you can get access to 130 performances through a pass that only costs RON 500. This is our way of showing our friendship to you. Names such as Charlotte Rampling, Batsheva Dance Company, Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, Declan Donnellan, Yoshi Oida, Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, Barcelona Flamenco Ballet, Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company will be in Sibiu especially for you. You are all awaited to FITS!’, is the message of the President of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival, Constantin Chiriac, to audiences around the world.
This year, the Sibiu International Theatre Festival introduces a RON 500 pass that grants access to all performances livestreamed from theatres halls and other indoor venues hosting in-presence representations, as well as to pre-recorded performances.
Tickets for in-person performances cost between RON 20 and RON 150, while tickets for online shows are between RON 20 and RON 75.
This year’s edition, described as the largest one so far, brings the audience more than 600 events in Sibiu and in the localities around the city, inside theatre halls, in the town’s public squares and streets, in churches, as well as online, broadcasting theatre, dance, circus, film, musical, opera, book, conferences, exhibitions, performances, music, and street productions.
