  Bagad Roñsed-Mor
The Sea-Horses Pipe Band
“Bagad” in Breton is a musical ensemble inspired by the Scottish pipe band, playing tunes from the traditional Breton repertoire of the 19th century. It consists of three musical sections: bombard, Scottish bagpipe and percussion. The term “Bombard” comes from the Latin word bombus, meaning "buzzing" or "thump”.
The Bagad Roñsed-Mor was created in 1969 in France. Since 1981 they perform in the first category and have already gained 4 titles of “Champion of French Brittany”. They perform all year long at local events as well as at national and international events. The musical activities of this group include national championships, music concerts, Breton Festival and all type festivals.
