This work of the dance company Hungry Sharks is a choreographed jigsaw puzzle with components of urban dance that invites audiences to join an adventure trip searching for mutual interrelationships. By repeating the same movement sequences again and again, eight dancers create space for interpretation regarding human encounters and social change. After crafting a rhythmical, choreographic and strongly mathematical structure, the whole piece was created within 8 days. It contains site-specific scenes that are adapted to each location of performance. The idea for the piece originates from the production “Nein Naus” by VADA. Loosely based on motifs from the Oscar-winning 1980 short film Tango by Zbigniew Rybczynski, the piece evolves along moments of dance intended to make the importance of impulses from our fellow humans transparent and tangible for the audience.
Performance not recommended to audiences under 10.
