In a small city named Verona, the House of Montague and the House of Capulet are sworn enemies for generations, but their children have engaged in romance.
Romeo and Juliet fall in love at first sight, but their names have become a love barrier... Finally, the fanatical love breaks through all barriers and they get married secretly with the help of Friar Laurence. The beautiful new life having not yet started, in a duel on Romeo’s behalf, Romeo’s friend Mercutio is killed by Tybalt. Romeo secretly spends the night with Juliet and goes into exile. Forced to marry against her will, Juliet visits Friar Laurence for help, and he offers her a potion that will put her into a deathlike coma for “two and forty hours”. The Friar promises to send a messenger to inform Romeo of the plan so that he can join her when she awakens. The messenger, however, does not reach Romeo and, instead, Romeo learns of Juliet’s apparent death. Heartbroken, Romeo buys poison, goes to Juliet’s cemetery and drinks the poison. Juliet then awakens and, finding Romeo dead, stabs herself with her dagger.
Romeo and Juliet’s burning love ends, eventually the two families reconcile in return. With the good wishes for future, the two families held a big wedding for the young couple...
