The anarchy of age, the intrigues of the faculty members, the student-teacher relationships come together in this hit comedy about the best years of our life.
The action takes place at Cutlers’ Grammar School, in a traditional boy’s college of Sheffield, Yorkshire. An unruly class of gifted and charming teenage boys are taught by two eccentric and innovative teachers, as their headmaster pushes for them all to get accepted into Oxford or Cambridge. The students will be tutored here for the “most important exam of their life”.
“The History Boys” by Alan Bennett is not a play about history, but one meant to make history!
Performance presented in Romanian, with translation into English.
Performance not recommended to audiences under the age of 16.
