Declan Greene is a playwright and director based in Melbourne, Australia. As a writer, his work includes Moth, Pompeii, L.A., Eight Gigabytes of Hardcore Pornography, and I Am A Miracle - which have been produced across Australia, the US, the UK and Europe. Awards include the Malcolm Robertson Prize (2010), the Max Afford Playwright's Award, the AWGIE for Theatre for Young Audiences, and the Green Room Award for Best Original Writing (2010). His commissions include Melbourne Theatre Company, Malthouse, HotHouse and Arena Theatre. He co-runs independent theatre company Sisters Grimm (with Ash Flanders), and is currently Resident Artist at Malthouse Theatre.
