“The performance “Dawn Way” by Oleg Bogaev, translated by Elvira Rîmbu and directed by Veronica and Cătălin Pătru, presents various characters in a crisis. Couples are put to the test during a night, attempting to solve the situation. Instances are treated superficially, with humour, resentment or rejection, all revealing personal problems. For each scene the author has chosen the same action - an accident, but viewed from different perspectives. Each choice can bring the characters closer or further from humanity. People are sarcastic and above all, moral issues arise. They are faced with a fait accompli, asking questions to which they do not want an answer. One of the phrases from the text says that people are a lost cause. Is that really so? Aren’t there any souls left to fight for everything to be okay? Do you think that, eventually, at least one of them will show to be human???”
Performance presented in Romanian, with translation into English.
Performance not recommended to audiences under the age of 16.
