”TRAMA - ALL PORTRAITS ARE BIASED, PARTIAL OR FLAWED”. In this Brazil of mixed races, mystery and magic, all portraits are biased, partial or flawed. As we survey the players and their games, folk festivals and merry-making and their mystic personages, we create dances that reveal a little of this complex Plot of simplicity, revealing the very Brazilian transcendent and infectious path to happiness. RUI MOREIRA - CHOREOGRAPHER Regarded by specialised Brazilian dance critics as one of the country’s most emblematic dancers, Rui began his career in São where he spent some dancing with the Cisne Negro Dance Company. During the thirteen years he danced with Brazil's Corpo Group, he evolved into a dancer symbolic of not only the company but of the whole country. He became famous abroad as a Brazilian dancer par excellence, with the capacity to stand out as a soloist even in the most homogeneous of casts. However, in June 1999, Rui entered into a new stage of his professional career. He left the Corpo Group to concentrate on creative work, heading up the Será Quê? Company that, since 1993 he had run as a parallel experimental activity. Currently, he develops his own repertoire in addition to choreographing for other dance groups. In his transition from dancer to creator, he has shown particular sensitivity to Brazilian culture, whose diversity he has transformed into his chief source of inspiration.

”Revoada” was a ballet created to honor the anniversary of Cisne Negro Dance Company, for his 30 years on the scene puts the Swan Fire to star ”Revoada”. As a starting point, two musical pieces by Stravinsky were pooled, both with the concept of ”fire”: ”Firebird” and ”Fireworks” in one work. ”Revoada” is an attempt reinvents itself; translate into dance, a chemical process that makes the work in black, symbolized by the same color, turning into pure energy, fire, red.
