  Pom Pom Girls ”Zvaigzdune” and Orchestra
The Pom Pom Girls ”Zvaigdune” is a dance company built by the teacher Loreta Staneliene, consists of five children, a youth concertial group and the main dance group which performs with the orchestra. About 100 dancers from 4 to 25 years old take place in concert activity. They dance wide range of modern dances according to music from Latin to Pop or Club with live music of the orchestra. New colourful show programme is presented to the public of Silute every spring. In 2006 Loreta Staneliene won Silute’s region award called ”Lithuanian hope” of collective activity, which represents Silute not only in Lithuania but in abroad as well. The group also gave concerts in Russia, Poland, Latvia, France, Spain and Italy. Dancers took part in such famous festivals as ”24 heures de Le Mans” in France, San Remo festival in Italy, Nice Carnival and many others. Zvaigdune dancers are often awarded for their charming communication with public, artistic, emotional and characteristic dancing.
